An Advocate
Lawrence H. Fisher focuses in complex litigation. He is well-positioned to represent various types of litigation and clients, including individuals and institutions. He places a particular emphasis on preparing and taking cases to trial.
Mr. Fisher endeavors to secure justice for individuals from wrongful parties. He works to serve his clients’ litigation needs and provide the type of personal attention and respect all clients deserve. Civil rights litigation permeates his career. Civil rights are guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, and the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 19th Amendments to the United States Constitution. Civil rights include civil liberties (such as the freedom of speech, press, assembly, and religion), as well as due process, the right to vote, equal and fair treatment by law enforcement and the courts. Mr. Fisher works hard to make sure his clients enjoy the benefits of a democratic society, including equal access to public education, recreation, transportation, facilities, commerce, and housing. Perhaps equally important to protecting the Constitutional Rights of ordinary citizens, Mr. Fisher frequently defends people in complicated criminal jury trials. Some Practice Areas
